FREE REPORT : The End of the Oil Age and the Coming Global Economic Collapse

Oil production world wide is in the initial stages of collapse. (2006)

Mexico – The giant Cartarell oil field down 20% in 2006

Great Britain – North Sea field down 8% per year – peak production in 1999

Saudi Arabia – Oil production down 8% in 2006

Norway – Peak oil production in 2001

Chevron reports that of the 48 nations producing oil, 33 are in decline

The global economic system is totally dependent upon reliable supplies of cheap oil. Because of increasing risk of oil supply disruption, the current global economic system is unsustainable and is in the initial stages of collapse, with global economic collapse occurring in 2010 – 2015, with currency destruction, global economic depression, famine, disease and pestilence, and violent crime inevitable

For the period 2010 – 2050.

The global system predicated upon and endless supply of cheap oil is ending, with no viable substitutes for oil available now, or in the foreseeable future.

By 2009 – 2010, the demand for oil will greatly exceed supply, and all pricing mechanisms for over 3000 commonly used consumer goods will fail and economic chaos will ensue. Global peak production of occurred in Dec 2005, and oil production figures have been flat since that date. Natural gas production on the North American continent will go into steep decline in the later part of 2008, and by 2010 world production figures for oil begin a steep, irreversible decline. Such a decline will totally destabilize all manufacturing, transportation and agricultural systems, bringing on a total global economic collapse. No Society will be immune from this economic chaos, but some will suffer sooner than others.

The United States, Great Britain and China will without question compete for energy resources world wide with possible catastrophic results( the Last World War). In this unprecedented crisis, every facet of modern life that depends upon or is influenced by oil or natural gas (manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, electrical production, roads, communications, etc.) will undergo extreme rapid change at minimum, and total collapse in the worst case. Complete decline of oil and gas production is not necessary to bring on the instability that will lead to collapse. The enormous populations of India and China will shortly consume such large amounts of the limited oil and gas supplies that the supply and demand balance that the world has enjoyed for the last 50 years(and the economic stability that balance has provided) will end at the latest in 2010-2012. Economic disruptions are already present, but will become much worse in 2010 and the decades to follow. The price of a gallon of gasoline will be in the $15.00 range sometime in 2010 – 2012, and increase from there.

The United States appears to be trying to postpone the oil shortage with permanent bases in Iraq, which has 8% of the worlds remaining reserves of oil. The United States also is poised at the time of this writing (Sept 07) to attack Iran, also with large proven reserves of oil. Such tactics may postpone the inevitable for a short time, but the ultimate fate of all societies that run on oil is inescapable in the very near future. Food production will decline with oil production decline. Famine is inevitable and unavoidable even in the United States as water supplies, fertilizer and insecticide production, and energy for food processing and storage decline.

Mexico presents a case to study – the main oil field, Cantrell, is in the Gulf of Mexico about 50 miles from the Mexican mainland. Cantrell provides the oil that finances 60% of the costs of the Mexican Social services programs. Cantrell is in serious decline, down 20% in one year. Such a decline is catastrophic, the field will be essentially exhausted by 2012 (5 years). Mexico is the number 2 supplier of crude oil to the US after Canada and this loss will cause severe supply problems in the US. Mexico is extremely unstable.

Civil war is highly probable in Mexico before 2012, and could probably begin by 2010, when this occurs, the United States will be invaded by 20 – 30 million Mexican civilians fleeing the violence in their homeland.(Update Nov 07-southern Mexico is already in the beginning stages of what appears to be a civil war with hundreds of minor officials and police assassinated after recent flooding)

Richard Heinburg, author of Powerdown and the Party’s Over has stated that in the U.S., the economic collapse will probably take the form of a recession that gradually worsens into a depression and this depression simply will never end. Hunger, disease, and violence in the U.S. are unavoidable at this point. Unemployment far worse than the Great Depression of 1929 – 1940 will destroy the economic base and savings of every American family. The danger of injury or death from interpersonal violence will be an ever present danger as the number of homeless wandering vagrants increases exponentially, year after year, beginning about 2010. There are about 100,000,000 (One hundred million) pet dogs in the U.S., many will be released by their owners to run free as their owners experience unemployment and the inability to purchase food for their pet animal. Dog owners are reluctant to kill their pets, and will simply set them loose – these animals will gather and run in packs, easily capable of killing an unarmed man. Every year many children are mauled by dogs, many suffer disfigurement and permanent injury . This danger will not be something most people will consider until it is too late. Expect the danger of attack and injury by will dogs to increase exponentially after 2010 – 2012. This is only one of the many unexpected dangers that will be present in the post-carbon era.

Mankind’s oldest enemy, disease, will return as medical facilities shut down and supplies of antibiotics and other medications dwindle. Tuberculosis, cholera, typhoid fever, influenza and many others are already present in drug-resistant strains and will return shortly and uncontrollably after medical care and public health (sanitation) services decline. Epidemics will be permanently present and absolutely uncontrollable.

The geographic U.S. will probably change in the years after 2012, with the lower ¼ of the continental U.S. becoming predominantly Hispanic/Mexican. With dwindling energy supplies available, the U. S. Government will be unable to prevent an invasion by Mexicans and other Hispanics, who will control California, Arizona, and parts of Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.

The U.S. East coast has, for the most part, been rendered unusable for farming by endless suburban sprawl. As gasoline prices increase, the homes of suburbia will lose their value and be abandoned. The office buildings of Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore will be unusable in an energy – short, declining economy. Power shortages will occur as oil supplies to fire electrical generators become more and more expensive, and finally unavailable. The East coast cities will become uninhabitable wastelands with a few building left burning as a monument to mans failure to understand cause and effect. The only people left will be vagrants and squatters. Long Island will be left in ruins, with millions of the elderly abandoned. All areas and especially cities extremely dependent on oil and gas will simply fall into disrepair and disuse and be abandoned as electricity, water, sewage and other essential services become unaffordable or unavailable. California, Arizona, Texas and New Mexico and its cities will revert to uninhabitable arid scrub desert, and Los Angeles, extremely dependent on motor vehicles, will simply be abandoned. Miami, Houston, New York, Chicago and other large metropolitan areas, heavily dependent on automobiles, gas and oil, will slowly be abandoned as essential supplies and services become unavailable. Florida will become uninhabitable without cheap energy for air conditioning, food transport and water pumping stations. Hundreds of Thousands of homes in Florida and the southwestern US will be simply abandoned because they are made of concrete and absorb the suns rays very efficiently. No one can sleep in a bedroom that is 140 degrees at midnight. Tens of thousands of condominiums on Miami beach will be abandoned. Without cheap energy they cannot be cooled, and the elevators don’t work. Recently (summer of 07) a bridge in Minneapolis failed, with loss of life. There are 77,000 more bridges in the U.S. in similar need of repair. As we go further into an era of severely reduced resources and energy, those bridges are ticking time bombs. Many deaths will ensue as Americas crumbling roads and bridges collapse for lack of repair and maintenance, and transportation of manufactured goods will become impossible. The waterlines and sewage pipes of America are ageing, most being over 50 years old and in need of replacement or repair. These structures carry drinking water, and a breakage can easily cause contamination of drinking water with disease – causing micro-organisms, with disastrous results in the form of epidemics of deadly diseases. The money to repair Americas bridges, water mains, sewage systems and other infrastructure will not be available as gross domestic product declines rapidly as the energy shortage worsens.

The coming economic collapse will almost certainly include the destruction of the US dollar, as the Federal reserve Bank issues more and more currency and credit to prevent the large banks and mutual funds from going bankrupt in the financial chaos caused by the energy shortage. Few people notice that the US dollar has lost 40% of its value in the last 6 years. As the government tries to prevent the massive defaults on the adjustable rate mortgages scheduled to reset in late 2008, the value of the dollar will plummet, and this will only make the effects of the energy shortage worse, as America tries to purchase foreign oil with worthless dollars. This is a catastrophe happening right Now-and soon, within a few years, the government, state, local and Federal will no longer be able to provide essential services. As in hurricane Katrina, the police will desert their posts and go home to protect their families from the growing danger and violence. The courts at all levels will cease to function for want of law enforcement officers. The Federal government will fall to tyranny and dictatorship briefly, and then cease to function altogether. Lawless ness will be recognized as the new, permanent condition. Those who have no means of self-defense will be brutalized, robbed, raped, beaten and murdered. Women’s rights and the progress made by the women’s movement will be lost almost immediately. Interpersonal violence over diminishing food supplies will be commonplace. Many will not survive. As in wartime everywhere, women and children will suffer most of all.

THE FUTURE  2010 - 2050

The future is impossible to predict, but several probable scenarios can be presented: Things stay pretty much as they are – if the US Government can manage to secure supplies of Oil and gas from the remaining oil fields, the American lifestyle can continue unchanged for several more years past 2010 – but not for long. The major competitors for energy will be China, India, Japan, Germany, England, Spain and Italy. The demand for energy of these countries will upset And destabilize the global energy system, causing total global economic collapse, regardless of what The US Government does. And the US economy will collapse if the Chinese and Japanese economies stall for lack of energy.

We can expect world-wide blackouts and brown outs after 2010. Currently, in the US, we have begun to see localized power failures and blackouts as the demand for electricity exceeds the supply ability of the grid. Natural gas, gasoline and diesel supplies will begin to run short late in 2008, with the price of gasoline spiking to $15.00 per gallon within 18 months of January 2010.

Ultimately, it has been argued that the carrying solar capacity of the Earth is the number of people alive before the age of oil and gas, in the pre-industrial era. Global human population may plummet from 6.5 billion to 1 billion or less. In the US, during the period 2010 – 2020, the population may be reduced from 300,000,000 to 150,000,000 through starvation, and then be further reduced by 100,000,000 by infectious disease associated with malnutrition and lack of sanitation, sewage processing, and medical care. It is not widely known, but in the US, 25% of the population died prematurely from disease associated with inadequate nutrition during the great depression of 1929 – 1940, and this was at a time when almost every home had a garden, and almost everyone had practical experience in farming.

America has an ageing population-what will happen to the elderly in an era of declining a availability of heating fuel, medical care and pharmaceuticals? The catastrophe of 2010 – 2050 will be far worse in terms of death toll. At the present moment, almost no one raises a garden, or preserves and stores food in the US. The number of farmers is less than 2% of the total population. Much farming knowledge has been lost, and suburban sprawl and paving has covered much of America’s prime farmland, especially in the East.

As the US economy disintegrates from lack of cheap, abundant energy, food production will decline starvation or hunger will be common, and homelessness on an unprecedented scale will ensue. Cold, hungry and starving people will be every where, violence over food or the land to grow it on will be epidemic, and crime will be rampant, with generalized lawlessness over the entire country. Conditions in England will be worse because of the large population relative to available farmland. Transportation of food over ruined roads and collapsed bridges will be impossible.

Eventually, by 2050 or so, the civil disorder will subside, and a new civilization will arise from the ashes. Sky scrapers, super highways and bridges will be abandoned and in ruins, the final reminders of an oil-based civilization that once dominated the landscape. Law and order will probably never return, at least not for several lifetimes.

Those who survive under these conditions will use techniques and knowledge that has been human tradition for countless centuries – small animal husbandry, small scale agriculture, and trade of handmade goods. Medical supplies, especially anti-biotics and sterile surgical supplies will be highly valued, and will save many lives during the period of most intense violence, 2010 -2020. Self-defense skills and proficiency with small arms will be a matter of life and death. World wide, 80 – 90 % of the human population will perish.

Only the well prepared will Survive.

The Peak Oil Global Economic Catastrophe- Your Personal Plan for Survival"

"Dear Reader-I have decided to make available the partially-finished edition of my newest Peak Oil survival book that gives you a practical blueprint for surviving the peak oil geopolitical and economic disaster which is almost upon us. I have done this because we are at $99.00 oil and gold above $800.00 per ounce-this tells me that the collapse of the dollar and with it the world economy is a distinct possibility within the very near future- this is totally unpredictable but possible now at any time-literally at any moment. Once the flight from the dollar into the Euro or some other currency gets started, people (and governments holding dollars, T-bills Treasury Notes and stocks and bonds of US corporations will likely panic, -which would cause an uncontrolled sell-off- and the US economy may rapidly go into a severe decline, worse than the Great Depression. There is so much debt that a global economic disaster cannot be prevented at this point. The central banks of the world cannot stop the massive shift out of dollar-denominated financial instruments, and this will bring on an absolute disaster for the US and anyone holding dollars-if we are lucky the banks and the government may be able to delay the crash for a year or two if the supply of oil is not interrupted. The crash is inevitable and cannot be stopped- you can only prepare for it as best as you can. The danger is imminent- a total collapse of the dollar or of the stock market could happen at any moment. For this reason I have chosen to release my book even though it is not finished- those who purchase now will receive updates, chapter by chapter as it is completed. The book provides an overall plan for survival-basically it in a polished 3rd draft-and even though the book is not in its final, finished version, it has much of the important, vital, basic information that you need to get going on your survival project- so that you can get started right away -NOW, TODAY-to prepare for the collapse that is coming. I urge you to prepare, prepare, prepare-and do it NOW. once the run on the dollar gets going, it will be too late. You must have a plan, knowledge, and supplies-and it will take time for you to put all of this together. If we are lucky we still have a year or two- if we are real lucky the US government will get some more oil from somewhere to keep things together a little longer- but not much-we are at global peak oil production and the inevitable steep decline (we are already in a global decline of 6%) will totally destroy the US and world economy, probably by 2010-2012. "

Time is short-you must prepare-NOW!!!
